These guns and abs are definitely a HUGE plus in the vampire vs werewolf/Edward vs Jacob game. They are soooo yummy, I’m thinking about switching to Team Jacob. Maybe. Never-the-less, enjoy.

Where does the time go?
Here we are, December 5th. Over 11 months of 2008 under our belts and not much to show for it. Time seems to be flying by so quickly lately.
Most of the TV shows are done for the year, not coming back until January or later.
All of the things I wanted to have done by now are not done. Matter of fact instead of losing 15 pounds, I’ve managed to gain 5. Yeah. Tell me about it. My heart is in the right place — I joined a new gym – Retrofitness. However, I have yet to go. Not my fault, I’ve been sick and with a wicked cough, I’m more likely to hurt myself while on the treadmill. I’ve fallen off of it while completely healthy. No need to tempt fate.
In positive news, I’ve seen Twilight 2x in the theatre. I’ve got a secret PC copy that I haven’t watched in it’s entirety yet. Been busy. I have more Twilight stuff and I also was able to grab two “seats” for the meet and greet at TwiCon next July. OMG. I get to rub elbows with some of the stars of the movie! Can you believe it? So far, Peter Facinelli, Jackson Rathbone, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Michael Welch are coming. WOO HOO. Sigh. I so need to lose weight. This is going to be one of the most exciting things I’ve ever done. I will not ruin it by feeling like crap about myself while there.
I’ve got most of my Christmas shopping done. Its not much this year. Plus I was just let go from my second job because it was sold and my work contract doesn’t allow me to work for competition. :( Ah well. It was 50 hours a month. I will miss the $ though.
Maybe there are decent people out there
So, it’s no secret that I am engrossed bewitched obsessed with Twilight. Well, there is a recent issue of VMan magazine (which, btw, is freaking hard to locate — and I tried 4 different states!) that has a story on the men of Twilight (aka the guys I would happily leave my husband for — and he knows this). I’ve emailed VMan magazine and never heard back. Yes, great customer service there. They state that the magazine can be found throughout the country in Barnes and Nobles, Borders and Tower Records, along with local (NYC) shops. Well I say, bull shiiiiit. I’ve tried 4 different states and numerous Borders’ and B&Ns and 99% of them have never heard of the magazine. :(
Ok. So back to the point of the post and the whole “decent people” thing. I belong to a website for Twilight Fans. One of the members saw that I posted about having such a hard time about locating the magazine and offered to pick me up a copy at her Borders and ship it my way!!! WOO HOO! That is so nice of her. I’ve never spoken to her before. A total, complete stranger. She has really made an impression on me since I’ve been feeling like everyone and there mother are only out for themselves. So here’s to one terrific gal and the Twilight men!

TwiCon 2009 – the convention to be at! It is going to be in Dallas and I am soooo there. My sister and I are all set to go. We’re reserving our tickets, reserving the hotel and then next year we’ll buy our plane tickets. I am so excited.
Technically it’s going to be my last hurrah before we have another baby, so the husband can’t really say too much. I never go anywhere (besides my upcoming trip to WV later this month). After we have another kiddo, I’ll be at home for another 6 or 7 years. :|
It really sounds as if this will be an awesome event! I can’t wait……
