My mom, my one sister and I all have a common sickness: Home Goods. Not one of us can walk out of there without a purchase. I’ve even bought more when I had to return something.
And just like me and a good pocketbook, my mom can’t resist passing one by. Good thing for me! She picked me up this adorable list pad and sticky note (and pen!) set. Woo Hoo.
Of course this only fuels my wanna-put-out-my-fall-decorations urge.
Speaking of which, I’ve decided to have a Halloween soirĂ©e. I’m tired of loving my fall and Halloween decorations every year and not having anyone to show them to. So, I’m going to have a small fall/Halloween dinner, family of course, just to show off what I’ve got.
The new All You magazine had a great little section on a vampire dinner. I’m not going to be going all out with that, but the pot roast recipe they show and the salad look delicious. And I’m going to use pumpkin pie molds to make mini pumpkin pies. Which wouldn’t be complete without apple cider (although I have a nice pumpkin spice coffee I’m dying to try as well!).
I do have to start thinking about my Halloween cards and the kiddo’s costume. I have a ton of Halloween digiscrap kits so I should be good on the card front. But I am not sure at all what the kiddo will be this year. Probably something Star Wars, as we seem to alternate between jedis and siths.

I just got my ALL YOU and will have to look!
My sister keeps talking about Home Goods. Would you believe I’ve never even been in one?!
I love my mama too. ;-)
Never been in one?!?! We meet up specifically to go to one, lol! We have a great one that’s about 20 minutes exactly between me and my mom. It’s also one of the better ones. Of course, we’ve got Wegman’s, Target, HG and Marshall’s all in the same plaza. Score! ;)
